Fabulous arts in Bassetlaw will work to address cross-cutting agendas and areas of particular need, including work with young people, arts programmes related to community safety, regeneration and learning, and developing partnerships to increase the range and number of opportunities to participate in the arts at local level throughout the community.

Fabulous Arts in Bassetlaw is committed to five key objectives:

1. Ensuring that as many people as possible have access to the arts, as creators, participants and audience members
2. Building a sustainable infrastructure for the arts in Bassetlaw that contributes to the health and well-being of local communities and to the social and economic regeneration of the district
3. Increasing opportunities for young people to participate and enjoy the arts
4. Working in collaboration with local and regional partners to develop and increase resources for the arts
5. Supporting balanced and varied arts provision and work to extend opportunities for arts practitioners and creative industries based in the district
