Opportunity for artist-in-residence at Djanogly Art Gallery, Lakeside Arts Centre, University of Nottingham

The Djanogly Art Gallery hosts a residency scheme open to fine and applied artists at its purpose built studio at Lakeside Arts Centre. We are now accepting applications from artists wishing to develop their work in the studio from October 2008 for a 12-month period.

Facilities and support offered to the artist:

Free studio space
On site artist’s studio (built 2005) located on the first floor (lift or stair access available)

Size: 13m long x 5 m wide x 3.3m high

Facilities provided: power and running water, natural light with option of blackout

Administration/desk space
Separate administration/desk space is available in open-plan office accommodation in the same building

Facilities provided: desk top computer, dedicated email address and telephone; access to photocopier or fax within office
