The Transitions dance project focuses on engaging young people at Robert
Smyth and its feeder schools - Welland Park Community College and Kibworth
High School - to participate in dance.

Assistants are needed to help lead a new youth dance group during term time.
Applicants must have some dance leading experience, but will gain further
experience on the job. Assistants are initially required to support new
groups starting in Market Harborough and Kibworth. Individuals need to have
up to date CRB clearance.

Applicants should be confident, enthusiastic, motivated and committed, aged
18+, excited about dance, available for weekly sessions and committed to
assisting a weekly after school dance club with young people. The groups
will start Thursdays in September 2008

These positions would suit someone who is interested in developing their
career in leading participatory dance sessions and projects. Sessions will
take place after school on either Wednesday or Thursday starting September
2008. Assistants will initially be paid £15 per hourly session on a
freelance basis.
