The Batty Charitable Trust (BCT) is a grantmaking Trust. Its income is derived from gifts made by the Estate of the late Christina Batty (otherwise known as Christina Foyle). The BCT will generally support smaller charities in the UK and especially those working at grass roots and local community level. They normally award one year grants of between £1,000 and £10,000 to charities which can demonstrate that such a grant will make a significant difference to their work.
